Why My Green Comms exists
Sustainability communication is under pressure.

Organisations are expected to be clear, accurate, and credible — but most don’t have
the tools or expertise to do this well.
My Green Comms was built to change that.
The challenge
Most sustainability messaging is:

-
vague
-
difficult to verify
-
or open to misinterpretation
This creates risk — not just reputationally, but increasingly from a regulatory and stakeholder perspective.
Vague claims → low trust
Clear claims → credibility
The approach
My Green Comms combines practical sustainability communications expertise with AI to help organisations:
✔ Improve clarity and credibility
✔ Avoid greenwashing
✔ Turn complex work into clear communication

About the founder
My Green Comms is built by Lee Green, a communications leader with over 20 years’ experience, including more than 15 years focused on sustainability communications.

Through his work with global organisations and industry initiatives, he has seen both sides of sustainability communication — where it builds trust and drives progress, and where it becomes vague, overstated, or difficult to verify.

My Green Comms is built on that experience: helping organisations communicate sustainability clearly, credibly, and in a way that stands up to scrutiny.
Why now
Expectations around sustainability communication are increasing.

Organisations are expected to be clearer, more accurate, and more transparent; not just in what they do, but in how they talk about it. Claims are being scrutinised more closely, and vague or overstated messaging carries real risk, from both a reputational and regulatory perspective.
At the same time, most small and mid-sized organisations are being asked to do more with less. They want to communicate responsibly, avoid greenwashing, and build trust with their audiences, but they often don’t have a dedicated comms team, sustainability expertise, or the budget for external support.
Generic AI tools don’t solve this problem. They can generate content, but they don’t understand nuance, credibility, or the expectations around sustainability communication.
My Green Comms was built in response to this gap.
It combines practical communications experience with AI to help organisations communicate sustainability clearly, credibly, and with confidence — turning complex work into messaging that stands up to scrutiny.
